October 23, 2019. This was the moment I told my high school girls eGroup I was moving to New Orleans. A couple of them knew I was planning to move, but didn’t know when.
Out of all the conversations, this one was the hardest. Telling my rowdy, ratchet, disobedient, God-loving kids that I was moving 700 miles away was tough, but as you can see, they took it very well.
