@libsoftiktok @HoustonISD This is seriously misleading. The 16-yr old CHOSE to go. Not forced. This is solely meant to cause outrage. There’s nothing wrong with a drag show. Just like there’s nothing wrong with cabaret shows. Or any other live shows. Sounds like the dad can’t except that his son’s gay.

Are we in an alternate universe? The twilight zone? What year is it? The fact that we are having this conversation is insane. This tweet is about a Houston father testifying before a school board regarding a teacher who allegedly took his son to a drag show. Some of the replies to the tweet blame the parent asking why he doesn’t know where his son is at 3 A.M. There seems to be a weird theme regarding drag queens and kids, be it Story Hour at the local library or school library or Drag Shows for kids. My first question is, “Why?”
