Seven Days Until The Election!
The election is in seven days! How are we doing? How is everyone feeling? Have you voted?
Like many Americans, I will be voting on election day because why drive to an early voting location when I can walk two blocks to the private school?
Consider this a check-in. How are you doing with seven days left? What are your hopes and fears, and if things go your way…how are you celebrating?
I’m throwing a milkshake party on Friday. It will either be celebratory shakes if we win, sympathy shakes if we lose, or anticipatory shakes if we still don’t know by then. Either way, I’m getting a milkshake.
I’m honestly ready for it to all be over because election season stresses me out, but I’m also trying hard to not be anxious about what the result will be. It’s hard to not feel hopeless sometimes since there’s so much corruption and lies, but at the end of the day I can’t control any of it. Sooo hopeful but also a little nervous! 😬
