What bothers me isn’t what she said here on Piers Morgan, but it’s her follow-up on TODAY with Hoda and Jenna (see below). The statements made in the above video are not untrue. You can be whoever you want. You can identify however you please. If you want to call yourself a woman that’s your choice, but you can’t change your biological reality. Biological sex is immutable. “Gender Affirming Care” will not give you a new body, just a medically or surgically altered one. A woman is an adult human female, and that comes with a unique human experience. That experience cannot be mimicked and it can’t be mocked. You either grow into womanhood or you don’t, anything else is just an elaborate costume. If what I said bothers you, then stay bothered. I am a woman; I have the right to define what a woman is. Are you suggesting I change the way I think, feel, and believe to please a man? That’s insane!
